The Carl-Erik Fröberg Prize
for Young BIT Authors

The Prize is given in even numbered years to a young  author of a distinguished paper published in BIT Numerical Mathematics. The paper must have been published in the most recent two-year period in prior to the year of the award. At the beginning of that period the age of the author must have been 35 years or less.

Starting as a Nordic Prize, the prize is now since 2006 open to young BIT authors of all nationalities. The sum for the 2014 prize is EUR 5000.
